A true hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet corner just off Leytonstone High Road, this is the kind of pub you could easily miss but definitely shouldn’t.
Inside, it’s cosy and full of character, while the front garden spills out into the surrounding streets, giving it an almost village-like feel. Out the back you’ll find Papi’s Munchies serving up excellent pizzas, while the Thai menu is also well worth a try.
The beer selection is brilliant too, with plenty of interesting beers and ales on tap beyond the usual bog-standard choices.
Wholeheartedly recommended; just as good for a sunny summer afternoon as it is for a cosy winter pint.
